Last year when we received the refusal letter from the Canadian Embassy in Taipei, we were shocked and heart-breaking that we didn’t know what to do. We quickly went to consult with several immigration lawyers to find ways to solve the problem, but their answers were all the same. They suggested the best solution would be to re-apply for immigration, because the success rate of appealing the case would only be 20% to 30%. In addition, they said that we couldn’t defend or appeal in court, or there would be a bad record and might further jeopardize future application. However, I didn’t get discouraged but searched online; therefore I found Specht & Pryer Barristers & Solicitors. After speaking with Amy and Mr. Robert Pryer, I entrusted my case to them. They were the only law firm in Vancouver that had confidence to represent us in court to appeal our case, and to our family, this would be our last chance to try. It was out of our expectation that the judge approved our case immediately on the same day when I appealed the case in court.
Indeed, over the past year, our family suffered from a very long and painful waiting period in which we weren’t sure what would happen in the appeal process, but fortunately, Amy was very patient to communicate with us and spent a lot of time getting to know our whole story. At the same time, they spent lots of time studying past successful cases to defend our case. We were finally able to win the case, so our family is reunited. Their spirit of dedication and attitude are admirable. They are indeed the most professional immigration experts that we have ever met.

Although I always had the idea to go to Canada for studying, I was worried and frustrated because I did not know where to start. How could I find the right school? How could I apply for a student permit? Just then I knew “Specht & Pryer” and “Hello Canada” and their friendly personnel. They helped me with my application. For example, they advised me what to do, how to do and what should be paid attention to at different stages of the application. Throughout the process, they were very serious and responsible for the work they performed. With Hello Canada’s help, I successfully obtained my first Canadian student permit in just 1 month! Although I have landed in Vancouver, Hello Canada’s personnel still care about my well-being, such as my new lifestyle and study in Canada. I am very pleased to have successfully come to Canada and I need to say “Thank You Very Much” to Hello Canada, especially Amy Ng and Robert Pryer. I believe that I will have a nice experience studying in Canada with Hello Canada’s guidance.

When I came to Canada, I expected a lot of things. Making friends from other countries, experiencing other cultures, improving my English, and so on. Working at a Canadian company with local people was one of my dreams. I wanted to find a job that is related to my major and interests. I wanted to find the place to work where I can use my abilities and knowledge while learning English and building up good work experience. However, it seemed impossible to find a company who would accept me as an Intern. Now, I am working at the sales department at ZE Power Group. This company is big and growing bigger rapidly. ZE has more than 70 employees at the moment. How did I get this great opportunity? It's all because of Hello Canada Immigration's help. Hello Canada Immigration gave me a chance to have an interview with this company. Hello Canada Immigration also gave me practice interview sessions, which helped me so much to be ready for the real Interview. It was what I was looking for. Even though I am just an intern student, everyone at ZE treated me equally to other employees. I became involved in interesting projects at ZE. I am definitely learning both English and good working skills. I am very happy and satisfied with my life now. Thank you for everything Hello Canada Immigration, especially Liann and Robert Pryer. I really appreciate all of your help!
